BOLD Real Estate agent Rose Farrales is featured in the August 2026 issue of Triangle Real Producers, sharing the story of an unexpected career path that took her from the entertainment industry in New York City to a successful career in Triangle real estate.

Titled “The Second Act,” the feature explores the experiences that shaped Rose’s approach to real estate today and the decision to build a career centered on something she values deeply: relationships.

From Entertainment to Triangle Real Estate

Long before Rose was helping buyers and sellers throughout Chapel Hill and the greater Triangle, she was building a career in entertainment.

Her experience included interviewing celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey and 50 Cent, working on projects involving talent including Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, and collaborating with major platforms such as Netflix, Spotify, Disney and HBO. She later spent nearly 16 years with Comcast NBC Universal, helping shape content and campaigns during a period of significant change in the entertainment industry.

Those years gave Rose an extensive background in marketing, storytelling and understanding how to capture an audience’s attention. Today, those same skills play an important role in how she positions and markets homes for her real estate clients.

But as Rose shared with Triangle Real Producers, she eventually realized she wanted something more personal from her career.

“What matters is the relationships we build with our clients,” she told the magazine.

Real estate gave her the opportunity to combine her marketing expertise with the part of the work she valued most: helping people.

Building the Rose Gold Group With Seth Gold

Rose had already earned her real estate license when seasoned Triangle agent Seth Gold encouraged her to make the leap into the industry. Today, Rose and Seth work together as business partners through the Rose Gold Group, serving buyers and sellers throughout the Triangle.

Their partnership brings together complementary strengths. Rose draws on years of high-level marketing experience and a natural ability to tell the story of a home, while Seth brings extensive real estate experience and deep knowledge of the local market.

Together, they work across Chapel Hill and surrounding Triangle communities, helping clients buy and sell homes through many different stages of life.

A Strong Connection to Governors Club

While Rose and Seth serve clients throughout the Triangle, Governors Club is one of the communities where their work has a particularly strong presence.

Seth is also an agent with Governors Club Realty, the community’s onsite real estate agency, and Rose and Seth regularly work together with buyers and sellers in Governors Club.

Their experience in the community gives clients the benefit of both broader Triangle market knowledge and an understanding of the nuances of buying and selling within Governors Club.

For sellers, Rose’s marketing background helps showcase not only the features of a property, but also the story and lifestyle surrounding it. For buyers, the team’s familiarity with Chapel Hill and Governors Club helps provide context that goes beyond what can be found in a listing.

It is one part of a much broader Triangle real estate practice, but an important one for a team with longstanding connections to the Governors Club community.

Real Estate Built Around Relationships

One of the strongest themes throughout Rose’s Real Producers feature is that a real estate transaction is rarely just about a house.

Clients may be relocating, downsizing, beginning a new chapter or navigating an unexpected change. For Rose, being trusted to help someone through those moments is what makes the work meaningful.

That philosophy has earned her recognition locally as one of the Best Realtors in Chapel Hill, but it is also what continues to motivate her.

As Rose explained in the feature, her career in entertainment was filled with memorable experiences, but the relationships she builds through real estate have given her something different.

“They enrich my life,” she said.

Rose Farrales' Second Act

Rose describes real estate as her “second act,” but many of the skills developed during her first career have become strengths in the next.

Her marketing experience helps homes stand out. Her background in storytelling helps buyers see what makes a property special. And years spent working in a fast-moving industry taught her how to communicate, adapt and connect with people from all walks of life.

Today, Rose brings those strengths to buyers and sellers throughout the Triangle alongside Seth Gold, with a shared approach built around strong marketing, local expertise and lasting relationships.

Congratulations to Rose on her Triangle Real Producers feature and this well-deserved recognition of the career, perspective and personal approach she brings to her clients.
