Scott Kelley is a 28-year sales veteran of the Governors Club Realty Team and one of the most accomplished Realtors in the area. His roots in the community date back to 1994, when he began working with the original development team of Governors Club, making him the longest-serving Realtor in the community.  

 

During his time at Governors Club Realty, Scott has repeatedly been recognized as the number one broker in the area, based on annual reviews.  Each of these times, he has received the prestigious “Governors Club Salesperson of the Year” Award. Scott continues to be a leading expert and top producer in the community.

Originally from the Hudson Valley in New York, Scott moved to the Triangle in 1993 after earning his business degree from The State University of New York. Never looking back, he settled into the Triangle and, through the years, became ingrained in the Governors Club community and lifestyle. 

 

As a member of the Club, Scott is very involved and loves socializing with his client and friends at the numerous events and dining experiences always available. Over the years, Scott has connected hundreds of people to their dream homes.  He takes pride in building long-lasting relationships and watching his clients and new buyers continue to fall in love with Governors Club the same way he has.  

 

Scott is a proud father to five amazing kids. He enjoys boating with his family on Jordan Lake, has taken pride in helping coach his son’s ice hockey team, and is a family man all the way around.  

 

In his free time, Scott can be found selecting unique new additions to his growing sports and entertainment memorabilia collection.  He is a huge fan of the Carolina Hurricanes NHL team and is a regular at the games here in the Triangle. Scott is also a proud contributor to the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation, benefitting children's nonprofits with a health or education focus throughout North Carolina.
