Offering high quality dance training, Studio Move is a neighborhood dance studio in Chapel Hill fostering a love of the arts in everyone. Students will come to class each week and find themselves in an environment in which they can explore moving their bodies, gaining a well rounded dance education, and building lasting relationships along the way. Coming from an extensive performing and teaching experience in Boston, studio owner and primary teacher, Casey Hall, is elated to be bringing her experience and passion to the Chapel Hill community.
Classes range from non-performance based Creative Movement classes where our littlest dancers can explore music and movement, to the traditional ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical classes which end in a cumulative recital at the conclusion of the season. Workshops, pop up master classes and adult classes will also be offered throughout the season to get everyone moving at Studio Move.
They also offer a special class called Ninja Club taught by Miss Casey’s husband, Mr. Connor, where young ninjas will be able to participate in exercises and obstacle courses where they can develop strength, agility, and body awareness. As the former MIT Pole Vault coach, and Duke alumni (and record holder), Connor brings his knowledge and experience of motor learning and development to the students of Studio Move.
