In 2001, after completing the sale of substantially all of the almost 1200 Governors Club homesites it had developed, and moving into the residential and homesite resale business, Governors Club Limited Partnership began looking for a qualified buyer for Governors Club Realty, the Custom Home Program, and the Sales Center located at the front gate.

On February 8, 2002, a sale was consummated to ERRTH Holdings, LLC whose Principal and sole shareholder is E. Raoul Rushin III. Prior to purchasing GCR, Raoul was Vice President of Business Development with the 600-agent firm, Prudential Carolina Real Estate, in Charleston, SC. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst for Franchise Development for Coldwell Banker Corporation in Atlanta, GA.

Governors Club Realty provides the platform for marketing the Governors Club brand and exclusively lists and sells homes and homesites within the Governors Club planned unit development.

In addition, for those who purchase a homesite and wish to design and build their dream home, the Governors Club Custom Home Program offers an excellent, time-tested method to accomplish their vision. This 31-member team of professionals, including architects, builders, landscape architects and interior designers, have designed and built the vast majority of homes here for twelve years and counting.
