Governors Club
|
Governors Club is Chapel Hill’s and the Triangle’s only private, gated country club community, and is widely regarded as one of the
most desirable places to live in the Southeast.
The exceptional living experience offered by Governors Club begins with 1,600-forested acres crowning the highest elevation in the
region, which features 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside. This spectacular terrain is home to unique residences that
have been designed to meet rigorous standards for architecture, construction and landscaping, while co-existing in harmony with the
Edwards Mountain natural environment.
The end result is a special private oasis of understated elegance & beauty, located virtually at the doorstep of the stimulating and
sophisticated environment of Chapel Hill and North Carolina’s Research Triangle. Considered to be the intellectual capital of the
American South, the Triangle is home to three major research universities, two of the world’s most highly regarded medical centers
and RDU International Airport, all within a 30-minute drive from Governors Club.
It’s no wonder that a diverse, friendly group of more than 780 vital, engaged families from all around the world have chosen to make
Governors Club their home. Most of our residents are actively pursuing their professional and business careers, while others have
chosen to reward themselves for their previous career successes by retiring or semi-retiring to Governors Club. Either way, they
share in the enjoyment of the exceptional living experience.
